I'm here!
Hello.. Bonjour, Ay'up! Just thought I'd check in with you all and let you know life is just happening right now so I haven't been able to keep my little space on the internet as up to date as I'd have liked to.
Theres a number of reasons; firstly, I started my new job just after xmas and MY OH MY its taken it out of me! I've had numerous trips down to the big smoke over the past few weeks, deadlines to meet and generally lots of new things to squeeze into my brain. So, by 6pm looking at a computer has been the last thing on my mind. BUT its getting better.. I've learnt to force myself to get to bed before midnight,I've got better at waking up early for my hour and a bit commute and I'm starting to feel less like the new (useless/clueless) new girl. WOO!
Secondly; we've been looking for a new place to call our home! What with the amount of stuff (shit) I have we decided that we need more space. So its meant lots of house viewings, starting to declutter and generally just get our asses into gear. Thankfully we've found the most beautiful house only 5 minutes up the road from where we are now and we move in about 4 weeks time. I can't wait to put our stamp on it- I've been planning it all out already and thankfully over the past few years we've collected a huge amount of furniture so the only essential we need to buy is a dinning room table and some chairs.
Finally, the last thing that's been keeping me occupied is a VERY special project I'm currently working on. Its all very hush-hush at the moment as some of the finer details haven't been confirmed but all will be shared with you all soon.
Even though I haven't been posting a lot over the past few weeks its great to still get invited to events and have the opportunity to meet new people. I really have missed blogging these few weeks and can't wait to get back into the swing of things. So, going forward, I am setting myself a challenge of posting twice a week. There... I've said it.
