Getting all cosy with River Island
Evening lovelies!
Whilst in the midst of event planning for our Manchester CityGirls event I thought I'd do a quick outfit post. I fell in love with this piece as soon as a spotted it in River Island last week and think you might like it too!
I love River Island at this time of year; they always seem to have good warm pieces that last not just one season but become my go-to pieces for a few years afterwards too. As I get closer to the big 3-0 I've become less influenced by the throw-away fashion trends and look for pieces that I can style in different ways to create different looks without spending tons of money.
I've teamed the jumper dress with some black tights and my go-to chelsea boots. I also wore the dress in the evening but switched the flats for some heeled boots. I also think that I could team it with some jeans or leggings for a casual daytime look too.
The dress is quite a thick fabric so it's going to keep me toasty over the next few months teamed with a nice scarf and my winter coat.I handily had some nail varnish that matches the dress.. this one is a blue grey from Sephora's Color hit range- annoying I can't seem to find this online though!
Grey cowl neck t-shirt dress from RI- £38.50
Black Chelsea boots from Deichman £24.99
Black shopper from H&M £19.99
River Island also do this dress in black.. I might be popping back this week to pick it up as for me it would be a go-to piece for the next few months!
What do you think of my dress?
Do you like River Island this time of year?
XOXOXO
