WAH xmas nails (@Lamberts Yard, Leeds)

Happy Sunday everyone!

Earlier this week I was invited to go and check out WAH nails pop up shop in Leeds.  They are locate within Lamberts Yard independent concept store just off the main shopping street in Leeds city centre.

They have been in the space since late November and are there until 2nd January so get down there quick if you need some xmas or NYE nails!

Last weekend I was treated to Shellac nails at Hudson and Wood in Sheffield by a good friend of mine so although I'd already got my nails looking pretty WAH promised me they would put some xmas finishing touches to them for me...  Heres my nails before any festiveness was added-

The lovely Ivy (how festively named are we?!) was on hand to get painting when i arrived. She showed me a few of the designs and I chose to have cute little candy canes.

Ivy firstly used the WAH 02 white nail art pen to draw cane shapes (all free hand!) then used the WAH 01 black nail art pen to add the striped detail... it took a while but we and Ivy nattered all the way through so I didn't really mind. She has a very steady hand but I guess with practice it gets easier!

Once all the canes were dry she applied a topcoat to fix them into place and heres the finished result...

How cute are they?! I've had lots of comments this week about them and people have been surprised when I tell them they are done free hand! Ivy has major skills!

Here are a few other designs she's done recently for her clients (all pictures courtesy of Ivy's Instagram @Nails_by_Ivy )

Here are a few of my favourite designs that I spotted on a display in the pop up shop-

Prices are from £25!

If you don't manage to make it to the popup shop tin time WAH also have their flagship store in Topshop London and you can buy all your WAH products from Boots- the range online has varnishes, tools and the pens Ivy used on my nails.. have a look at the products here.

Have you visited WAH or tried any of their products?

Thanks to Ivy and WAH for the lovely xmas treat!
